Guides

Guides is the reference section of Chat Gpt5 Mag, the place where we maintain long-form documents that we expect to keep current for years. Where Tutorials walk you through a specific outcome, Guides give you the conceptual maps you need to reason about a whole topic: how to choose a model, how to budget for an API workload, how to structure an evaluation suite, how to think about agentic systems, and so on. Each guide is owned by a single editor who is responsible for keeping it accurate; major revisions are logged in a public changelog so you can track what changed and why. We treat guides as living documents rather than published artifacts, and we welcome correction requests through the contact page. If a guide is missing from a topic that matters to you, tell us. The next quarter’s roadmap is shaped largely by those requests.
